Use of image and video material
Nordic Bike Shows A/S may record image and video material
During fairs organised by Nordic Bike Shows A/S, image and video material may be recorded. We do not wish to take photos or video of you explicitly unless this has been agreed in connection with an interview or similar, but you may appear in image or video material if you happen to be nearby, or are part of the event/fair we are recording.
Below you can read more about how we process and store recordings of photos and video in which you may appear.
Our purpose for recording video and image material
Nordic Bike Shows A/S organises cycling fairs, and exhibitors, visitors and the general public all have an interest in experiencing media coverage of our fairs.
Nordic Bike Shows A/S generally records image and video material at the fairs, typically in situations where a named person is interviewed or where the atmosphere at a fair is to be captured – for example by showing a specific event at the fair.
If you appear in such recordings, our purpose is not to show you as a person, but only the situation you appear in. We therefore also do not record which people appear in the material.
Such recordings are used by Nordic Bike Shows A/S to share information with exhibitors, visitors and other stakeholders in the fairs. Nordic Bike Shows A/S also uses such material for marketing purposes.
You should therefore expect that the recordings may be published.
The basis for our processing
When we record and publish image and video material in which identifiable persons appear, these actions constitute processing of personal data.
Our basis for processing personal data in such situations is a balancing of interests, cf. GDPR Art. 6(1)(f). Our interests consist of being able to depict situations and atmosphere from held fairs etc. both for news/communications purposes and for marketing purposes.
We only process ordinary types of personal data. I.e. typically only information in the form of an image of you during your visit.
How long are the recordings stored?
We keep the final edited photos and video material for as long as we assess that it may be relevant in terms of being able to present an accurate picture of the fair, for as long as an interview is relevant, or for as long as the recording may have historical significance for us.
We therefore cannot say in advance how long we process information about the people who appear in the image and video material, but it may be for several years.
Your rights
Under GDPR Chapter 3, you have a number of rights as a data subject.
Your rights include that you can request access to and rectification or deletion of image and video recordings we process about you from Nordic Bike Shows A/S, you can request a restriction of Nordic Bike Shows A/S’ processing of the information, and you can object to the processing.
If you wish to exercise your rights, you must provide us with sufficient information for us to identify which recordings are concerned (i.e. a link to the recording or a precise description of the situation, for example time, location/stand/hall etc.), as we do not ourselves have information about your identity in the recordings.
If you are dissatisfied with our processing of image or video material in which you appear, you can exercise your rights, and you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at www.datatilsynet.dk
