In 1895 the first bicycles rolled out of the hardware factory in Odense. Since you can come across a SCO bicycle everywhere in Denmark. In 1922 SCO launched the predecessor of today’s cargo bike and in 1943 the long wheel based Long John cargo bike with two wheels.

In 1974 Dane Peder Pedersen won the sprint world championship riding a SCO bike which nowadays simply is known as the world champion bicycle. The current product line also include e-bikes for commuters and urban bikes in retro design.
