One of Denmark’s most iconic events is an urban cargo bike race
After a break since the 1940-50s Svajerløbet in its current format has passed it’s 10 years anniversary. Back then it was a competition between the riders of the cargo bikes distributing goods by bike to their employer’s customers.
Nowadays it is also the Danish championship in cargo bike racing. The event is open for everyone riding a cargo bike whether it’s a vintage or modern model with either two or three wheels. And for as well women as men in each their class.
In 2018 pro rider Rasmus Quaade won the race among the male riders.
